Will lose when ...
They settle for too many jump shots on offense and allow too much dribble penetration on defense.
Famous Last Words
Pacific was dominant in the Big West but didn't do anything to impress in the non-conference season. The Tigers won't play any Big West schools in the NCAAs.

TO THIS POINT Big West champion How They Got Here: Despite handing Utah State its only regular season loss in conference and earning a share of the Big West regular season title, it was wise to take the decision out of the committee's hands by winning the Big West automatic bid. The Tigers nearly suffered the same fate as Utah State in the conference title game, but beat Northridge by a basket. UOP was just 5-5 in the nonconference, but did beat NCAA-bound Nevada.
PLAYER TO WATCH Miah Davis | G | Senior
Davis, the Big West Player of the Year, led UOP in scoring. After suffering a concussion in Pacific's only conference loss at Utah State, Davis returned after missing the next game to lead the Tigers to wins in the last 14 games -- averaging 18.2 ppg over those games. He was the only Big West player to rank in the top 15 in eight statistical categories, including sixth in scoring.
