Will lose when ...
They continue to average 17 turnovers per game, play undisciplined defense and can't hit an inordinate number of 3-pointers.
Famous Last Words
The Rattlers are 14-16 on merit. They simply don't do much well, making their MEAC title an even more surprising accomplishment.

TO THIS POINT MEAC champions How They Got Here: The Rattlers hadn't won more than five straight games all season and that was back on Jan. 10-24. So, winning three in a row at the MEAC tournament -- the last two over top-seeded South Carolina State and No. 2 seed Coppin State -- was something of a shock to say the least. But, the Rattlers are the latest team with a losing record to dance -- at least in Tuesday's play-in game.
PLAYER TO WATCH Terrence Woods | G | Senior
Woods gives the Rattlers both experience in the backcourt and a legit threat from the outside. He's the No. 1 option for the Rattlers, scoring 20 or more points 19 times, and over 30 twice. A first team All-MEAC player has displayed exceptional range with his ability to shoot the long trey. His 38 points against Norfolk State included eight 3s, while he had at least six treys in 13 times.
